Torque Goes to new York City

Torque received an incredible personal tour from her buddies at the  NYPD Midtown Precinct South - the busiest precinct in the world! It  serves Midtown Manhattan (Times Square, Grand Central Terminal, Madison Square Garden, etc.) Witnessing the dedication and hard work of these men and women up close and learning about their vital work was truly inspiring. From the state of the art technology to their commitment to keeping the community safe, it was a fascinating experience! 

Torque had the profound honor of receiving a personal tour of FDNY Engine 54 Ladder 4 Battalion 9, located in the heart of Broadway, and known for its incredible bravery and heart-wrenching history. This firehouse, which lost more firefighters than any other firehouse on 9/11, is a symbol of unwavering courage and dedication. As we walked through the halls and heard stories of heroism, we were deeply moved by the legacy these firefighters have left behind. The walls are adorned with photos and memories that serve as a powerful reminder of their sacrifice and the enduring spirit of the FDNY. Meeting the current team, we felt a palpable sense of pride and community. They carry the torch of their fallen brothers with strength and resilience, ensuring that their memories live on through every act of service.
